Whether its in smal groups, one on one, or in large groups, when I think about having the opportunity to help people through speaking and writing I get really excited.

I started teaching when I was in college. It was just by chance. Never did I know that one event would mold my life and career. I have taught in some form since 1985. For eight years I was in the classroom with children. For four years I taught children in an outdoor setting. In 2002 I started teaching adults. Some of my adult instruction has been in real estate pre-licensing courses but I have also mentored agents and led real estate training courses. For a little over a year I traveled for a national brand teaching their new and newly hired experienced agents.

Currently, I am employed by a large real estate company as the Director of Career Development. My duties include training new agents and providing growth and learning opportunities for experienced agents. I also teach as an independent contractor for a statewide real estate school.

I am thankful to be able to say I love my work. I get up every day excited to go to work. Think about it, I get to positively change the careers of so many people. What an honor and a responsibility!
